The Montclair Modern Aging Collective (MMAC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of modern agers through collaborative efforts and innovative programs. At the heart of our mission is a commitment to providing comprehensive support and resources to empower all modern agers in our community to lead fulfilling and active lives.

MMAC strives to foster a vibrant community where modern elders can thrive through purposeful programming, compassionate care, and meaningful connections.

The Montclair Modern Aging Collective brings together a diverse group of stakeholders, including representation from the Township’s Division of Senior Services, who are united by a shared vision of promoting the well-being of modern agers. Our collaborative approach enables us to leverage the expertise and resources of each partner to create impactful initiatives tailored to the unique needs and interests of modern elders.

In collaboration with all of our partners, MMAC supports a range of programs and services designed to enrich the lives of modern agers and promote healthy aging. Additionally, working closely with the Township’s Senior Services, we assist with constituent access to vital support services, such as health screenings, counseling, and transportation assistance, to ensure that every elder receives the care and attention they deserve.

As part of our commitment to fostering a sustainable central hub for community engagement and empowerment, MMAC helps to fund a center equipped with modern amenities and facilities. Our center serves as a welcoming space where modern agers can come together to participate in activities, connect with peers, and access valuable resources that promote their overall well-being.

To sustain our collective programs and expand our collective reach, MMAC actively engages in fundraising initiatives and community partnerships. Through grant applications, corporate sponsorships, individual donations, and fundraising events, we raise the necessary funds to support our collaborative operations and ensure that our programs remain accessible to all Montclair modern agers.
